Perma-Bilt celebrates grand opening of Naples
Special to Real Estate
Model homes open today at Naples, Perma-Bilt Homes' newest neighborhood in the southwestern valley. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, visitors can tour four model homes and enjoy refreshments.
Naples offers single-family homes priced from the low $130,000s in a gated environment. All homes are two-story with front porches and two-car garages.
"We are inviting home shoppers out to ... get a true sense of what the community of Naples will be," Robb Beville, executive vice president of Perma-Bilt Homes, said. "Naples features four brand new floor-plan designs amid a peaceful environment with views of the nearby mountains and a glimpse of the Las Vegas skyline."
The Marsala model measures 1,537 square feet with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a loft, upstairs laundry room and island kitchen with a pantry.
At 1,551 square feet, the Bergamo plan offers four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. A loft or bonus room is optional.
The Trieste plan can be built with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and an island kitchen with a pantry in 1,888 square feet. A bonus room is optional.
The 2,064-square-foot San Severo plan features three bedrooms upstairs, plus a fourth bedroom or den downstairs near the third bath. A loft is optional.
Beville is confident the new neighborhood will prove popular.
"Our projects in the southwest valley have always done well, even before the area was truly developed," he said. "Now, with the expansion of the Las Vegas Beltway westward, this area has become more accessible and even more popular among home buyers. Additionally, the serene setting of our southwest neighborhoods, matched with a broad selection of floor plans in a variety of price ranges, can also be attributed to our success."
Adjacent to Naples, the builder is developing Modena, where buyers can choose from four floor plans ranging from 1,362 to 2,363 square feet. Prices start from the low $130,000s.
To visit both neighborhoods, take Tropicana Avenue west, past Durango Drive, to Grand Canyon Drive and turn north. Proceed to Tompkins Avenue and go west.
In late 2000, the builder plans to open models at a 195-acre community in the southwestern valley. Eight hundred homes among three neighborhoods are planned.
In the valley's northwest area, the builder offers the Shadow Hills community. Four neighborhoods feature a combined 15 models and prices that range from about $110,000 to more than $220,000. Shadow Hills can be reached by taking U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue and driving west.
All of the builder's sales offices and models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
Perma-Bilt Homes entered the Southern Nevada market in 1994 and has since sold more than 2,000 homes, including more than 400 homes in 1999.Sunday, April 9, 2000 aPage 1M
