King's Links opens for sales at MacDonald Highlands
Fifteen custom-home sites are available at King's Links, a neighborhood within MacDonald Highlands, a 1,200-acre golf course community in Henderson.
The one-half acre home sites are priced from $330,000 to $470,000.
Most of the lots offer views of the sixth and seventh fairways of the DragonRidge Golf Club in addition to the McCullough Mountains, according to Emily Sherwood, vice president of sales and marketing.
"These sites really cater to both the golf enthusiast and the nature enthusiast, with all of the amenities that come with living in MacDonald Highlands," Sherwood said. "King's Links is a unique neighborhood in that the two nearby parks will help provide an active environment for families with children while the fitness trails and fantastic views will also cater to residents without children living at home."
The private-equity golf club, designed by Jay Morrish and David Druzisky, is scheduled to open for play May 1. The 18-hole, par-72 course measures 7,032 yards.
Three parks are planned at the community with such amenities as tennis and volleyball courts, fitness trails, and playgrounds.
Four custom-home neighborhoods are under development. They are: King's Links, Lochmere, Highlands and Palisades. Lots measure one-third acre to one-half acre and range from $135,000 to $650,000.
About 500 custom homes will be featured at the community, which will offer home sites ranging from one-third acre to more than 2 acres. Lots are priced from $135,000 to more than $1 million.
The fifth neighborhood is Stonehaven, a Toll Bros. development of single-family homes. Single- and two-story floor plans range from 3,000 to 4,000 square feet, and are priced from $365,000 to $450,000. Stone exteriors and casitas are available.
To visit, take Lake Mead Drive to Valle Verde Drive, turn south and proceed to Horizon Ridge Parkway. Sales office hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
