Street of Dreams construction begins at Estates at Seven Hills

     The estate-style homes under construction for the fall 2000 Street of Dreams luxury housing show are setting a tone of distinction for Venezia, a custom-home subdivision located within The Estates at Seven Hills community, according to Jack Christie, vice president of sales.
      The nine homes being built for the show are valued from about $1.2 million to more than $2.5 million and will range from about 4,000 to 7,400 square feet. The neighborhood, built on a plateau, overlooks the Rio Secco Golf Club.
      "With homes valued at over $2 million already under construction in Venezia, prospective home site buyers are taking notice of the tremendous value this neighborhood offers," Christie said.
      Available lots range from one-third acre to three-quarters of an acre and are priced from $179,000. Some "dual-pad" home sites are available, allowing buyers to build multilevel homes.
      Venezia is one of several custom neighborhoods in the community. A development of Silver Canyon Partnership, the community will comprise a series of neighborhoods along the golf course. About 60 homes are complete or under way at the development.
      Rapallo, the first custom-home neighborhood, has sold out. Its park and landscaped areas have also been completed.
      Lots are available at the Terracina neighborhood, which was home to the 1998 Street of Dreams show. This guard-gated neighborhood features one-quarter acre to half acre home sites, priced from $225,000. It features a park with tennis and basketball courts, and a playground. Venezia also features a neighborhood park with a playground, a tennis court and other recreational amenities.
      Information regarding the home sites can be obtained at the community sales pavilion. To visit, take Lake Mead Drive to Seven Hills Drive, which is just west of Eastern Avenue, and then go south. The pavilion is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
