Seven Hills purchase ends up family affair

Ileana and Vernon Nelson considered it a move for the sake of luxury as well as family considerations when they bought a new home at Capistrano by Kimball Hill Homes.
"We drove into Seven Hills, visited Capistrano, saw the Madison model and knew we had found exactly what we wanted," said Ileana Nelson, a realty agent. "We just love Seven Hills, with all of the beautiful parks, trails and open space areas. We walk often and frequently take our three-year-old son to the nearby parks. My husband, who is an attorney, enjoys playing basketball with his friends each weekend at Vivaldi Park."
Seven Hills offers single-family homes priced from the $130,000s. Homes in select neighborhoods are priced from $310,000. Custom-home sites are priced from $170,000 to $950,000.
The 1,300-acre community features an elevated and rolling terrain, and views of the Las Vegas Valley and Rio Secco Golf Club.
"My parents, sister and cousin all bought homes here as well," Nelson said. "We all enjoy being in a place for people of all ages, to enjoy their homes and the wonderful outdoor environment as well."
Neighborhoods open for sales are: Renaissance, Riviera, Crescendo and Presidio by Pardee Homes; Villagio by Primack Homes; Monte Nero by Presley Homes; Palermo West, Capistrano and Naples by Kimball Hill Homes; Palatine Hill by Capital Pacific Homes; the Venezia and Terracina custom neighborhoods by Silver Canyon Partnership; and Corcovado Custom Homesites by Nevastar Investment Corp.
To visit, take Lake Mead Drive to Seven Hills Drive, which is west of Eastern Avenue, and go south.
The sales center and model homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
