Five neighborhoods open at Green Valley Ranch

     Five neighborhoods are open for sales at Green Valley Ranch, which is being developed in Henderson by American Nevada Corp.
      Castle Rock Estates by Richmond American Homes offers single-family floor plans ranging from 1,673 to 2,355 square feet with as many as four bedrooms. Prices start in the mid-$150,000s.
      Mystic Bay, a gated neighborhood by Richmond American Homes, features homes that range from 2,103 to 3,263 square feet with as many as six bedrooms. Pricing begins in the $190,000s.
      Meritage, another gated neighborhood, has homes with as many as six bedrooms and floor plans that range from 3,029 to 3,878 square feet. Prices begin in the mid-$200,000s. It is being developed by Capital Pacific Homes.
      U.S. Home is developing Carriage Lane, a gated neighborhood with homes ranging from 2,550 to 4,500 square feet. Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.
      The Estates at Green Valley Ranch by American Nevada Corp. is a custom-home community. The home sites range from one-quarter acre to one-half acre and are priced from the $100,000s.
      The 1,310-acre Green Valley Ranch is highlighted by city parks, smaller neighborhood parks and a trail system.
      Construction is under way for the Henderson Promenade and Special Events Plaza. This 38-acre facility includes plans for a 7,500-seat amphitheater; a 70,000-square-foot community center with outdoor swimming pools and an indoor aquatic center; and a public library.
      A police substation opened last December at the community.
      To visit, take Interstate 215 to Green Valley Parkway, exit south to the community.
