Vineyards buyers customize homes

An appealing aspect to Christopher Homes' Vineyards neighborhood is the opportunity to customize floor plans, according to sales agent Karen Gaines.
"Vineyards is specifically designed for the upscale home buyer who wants the ultimate in customizing opportunities, without having to go through the hassles involved in building a custom home," Gaines said.
"Our buyers have an opportunity to create the home of their dreams through considering a multitude of floor-plan variations and taking advantage of free consultation with our on-site architectural designer. By using the services of our architectural designer, each buyer can determine how to best modify their selected floor plan to match their own, unique taste and lifestyle requirements."
Located in The Arbors village in Summerlin, the guard-gated neighborhood offers one- and two-story homes, ranging from 3,072 to more than 5,000 square feet, on one-quarter acre to one-third acre terraced home sites. Many sites offer city or mountain views.
Homes are priced from the mid-$300,000s. For a limited time, the builder is offering a matching allowance worth thousands of dollars toward upgrades at the company's design center, according to Gaines.
Options include casitas, gated motor courts, courtyards with fireplaces, secondary owner suites, extra bedrooms and baths, bonus rooms, libraries and wet bars.
To visit, take Summerlin Parkway to Town Center Drive and turn left. Turn right on Hualapai Way and proceed to Laurelglen Drive. Models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
