Family chooses Bermuda Greens

     After owning several homes in California, Jim and Kim Boone decided to move to Pardee Homes' Bermuda Greens neighborhood in the Rancho Las Palmas community.
      "Once we decided to move to Las Vegas, we found our new home in only two days," Kim Boone said. "Jim knew the area well enough to know we wanted to be in the southeast, and Bermuda Greens was by far the premier neighborhood."
      A neighborhood park is among the amenities.
      The Boones have two children: 10-year-old Kyle and 8-year-old Cory. They chose the two-story Plan Three, which can be built with five bedrooms; four bedrooms plus a game room; or three bedrooms and a loft in 2,039 square feet.
      Jim Boone said the process went smoothly.
      "Pardee is the first home builder that has ever delivered a home to us on time and without one problem," he said. "We had a clean, no-item walk-through at closing and were able to move in right away."
      Four floor plans are available, ranging from 1,233 to 2,153 square feet.
      Prices start from $134,950 to $171,950.
      All homes offer high ceilings, ceramic-tile or wood entry flooring, and cultured-marble counter tops in secondary baths.
      Kitchens, per plan, come with ceramic-tile counter tops, oak cabinets with adjustable shelves and finished interiors, island workstations, pantries, and appliances in black or white.
      Owner suites provide walk-in closets, dual-sink vanities, and separate tubs and showers.
      Options include French doors, a wood window apron package, security system, and water softening and reverse-osmosis systems.
      To visit, take Interstate 215 to Windmill Lane, go west to Bermuda Road, head south to Pebble Road and turn left. At Manalang Road, turn right. Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
