Park among Copperfield's perks

Homeowners at Copperfield can enjoy the amenities of their new 2-acre neighborhood park in the northwestern valley. The park at the US Home neighborhood features a basketball court, tether ball, four square area, picnic areas, a barbecue pit, trees and grass.

Residents Bobby and Sheila Alexander enjoy visiting the park with their sons Bobby, Jr., Brandan and Bryce, where the kids can shoot hoops, ride their scooters and throw a disc around.

"It's a great gathering place for children and families because there is always something special about a day at the park," said Bobby Alexander Sr., who is in construction and has done work at the neighborhood.

The Alexanders, who moved to the neighborhood late last year, are also impressed with the design of their new home.

"Sheila loved the layout of the Pacific Heights model. Once she'd seen it, she wouldn't have another house. I like the way US Home builds a house. The quality, it's in there," he said.

"We can be downstairs in the family room, and the boys have their own huge family room and big screen TV upstairs."

Their home measures more than 3,000 square feet with a bedroom and bath on the main floor, plus three bedrooms and two baths on the second level. The home also features a two-story foyer, formal living room and dining room.

The neighborhood offers nine single- and two-story designs ranging from 2,167 to 4,200 square feet.

Prices start from the $220,000s.

Buyers may visit an in-house design center for options, upgrades and floor-plan alterations.

The neighborhood is near closeout. Lots measuring 105X70 are still available.

One home available for immediate occupancy is the 2,790-square-foot Sausalito design. This two-story home features five bedrooms, 2 3/4 baths, a three-car garage, covered porch entry, formal living and dining rooms, and a great room. Upstairs, the master suite includes a bath with dual cultured-marble sinks, a separate tub and shower, and two walk-in closets.

Priced at $251,315, the residence includes several upgrades, such as maple cabinetry and stair railings, ceramic-tile counter tops, and front- and backyard landscaping. Incentives are available with the use of the builder's preferred lender.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard, and then go north.

Models are open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

US Home is a member of the Lennar Family of Builders and offers neighborhoods throughout the valley.
