Diamond Creek design appeals to utility company worker
While setting up gas service at a home in Pulte Homes' Diamond Creek neighborhood, Charlie Quinones, a local utility company employee, immediately liked the layout and decided to check into purchasing a new home for his family. Charlie, his wife Melissa, and their three sons, 4-year-old Charlie, 1-year-old Jacob, and 2-month-old Noah, purchased a two-story 2284 Plan with four bedrooms, three baths, family room, formal dining room and living room. "We looked at other new-home builders in the area and we were impressed with the layout of our Pulte home and what we got for our money. We also really enjoy living in the northwest where it is nice and quiet," Quinones said. The neighborhood offers single- and two-story models that are priced from $162,990 to $192,990. Floor plans range from 1,418 to 2,284 square feet and offer three to five bedrooms. Homes in the neighborhood are recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency for exceeding national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent. In addition, they are Environments for Living certified and offer a two-year heating and cooling guarantee. Among the neighborhood amenities is a 1-acre park. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway and go east. At Jones Boulevard turn north, go east on Elkhorn Road to Thom Road, and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, noon to 7 p.m. Monday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Pulte currently is developing nine neighborhoods in the valley. Two new neighborhoods open for presales in Summerlin are Cara Vella and Sage Hills Townhomes. The builder has operations in 43 markets across the United States, Argentina, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Through its Del Webb operations, the company is a leading builder of age-qualified communities. The company also operates the Pulte Mortgage Corp.
