Sales pace accelerates in Summerlin

The Vistas village, marked by two clock towers, continues to lead new-home sales in Summerlin.

As of July 31, new-home sales in the master-planned community were 18 percent higher than in 2002, according to Larry Brocato, executive vice president of developer The Howard Hughes Corp. Summerlin continues to maintain strong market share in the Las Vegas Valley and set the standard both locally and nationally for master-planned community development, according to Brocato.

It currently features about 150 model homes priced from the mid-$100,000s to more than $700,000.

Custom-home sites in The Ridges are priced from the high $500,000s to more than $1 million, and predesigned custom homes are priced from $2.1 million.

Apartments offer monthly rents starting from the high $700s.
