Pardee taps high-end market with Renaissance

      Pardee Homes of Nevada will host a grand opening of model homes on Saturday at the Renaissance neighborhood in Seven Hills, a planned community in Henderson.
      The gated neighborhood offers terraced home sites, five floor plans and the finest homes the builder has developed in Southern Nevada, according to Joyce Mason, vice president of marketing for the builder.
      "Pardee has taken elegant architectural style and design and coupled it with the unique lay of the land to create a new level of luxury at Renaissance," Mason said. "These extravagant homes include ... picture windows with overlooks of the Rio Secco golf course and the Las Vegas Valley.
      "These are the largest and most finely appointed homes Pardee has built in the (valley)."
      Single- and two-story floor plans range from 2,700 to 4,600 square feet and are priced from the $310,000s.
      There are two single-story models that can be built with two bedrooms with a den or optional suite, four bedrooms, or three bedrooms with a den.
      "A lovely courtyard entryway reminiscent of European-style architecture opens into the single-story Plan Two," Mason said. "This is a home created for entertaining with an optional two-sided fireplace between the formal living room and family room, which features a picture window overlooking the valley."
      The two-story plans offer as many as five bedrooms, and include one plan in which the owner suite is downstairs.
      All homes feature the Energy Star seal and the Comfort Wise designation, which means the homes possess certain energy-efficient features. These include a decrease in ultraviolet light through specially treated windows; reduced utility costs; and vinyl-framed windows, which reduce noise in the home.
      Interiors feature rotunda and courtyard entries, a butler's pantry, wraparound balcony in one plan, sculptured fireplaces, high ceilings and arched doorways.
      Design options include bedroom suites, bay windows, French doors at the courtyard entry, wrought-iron balustrades on staircases, lofts, dens, game rooms, bonus rooms, and a bar off the family room in one plan.
      Kitchens offer ceramic-tile counter tops, oak- or white matte-finish cabinetry, a pantry, five-burner cook top, built-in microwave/oven combination, vent hood and dishwasher. Optional kitchen features include space for commercial-grade appliances such as a 48-inch range and 42-inch refrigerator space.
      Buyers can received assistance with choosing options and upgrades at the builder's design center.
      To visit, take Lake Mead Drive to Seven Hills Drive, which is west of Eastern Avenue, head south and follow the signs.
      The sales office and model homes are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
