Amenities take shape at Lake Las Vegas Resort
Amenities continue to take shape at Lake Las Vegas Resort.
"Designed with all of the elegance and amenities of a world-class resort destination, Lake Las Vegas Resort offers residents a vacation they can live every day," Sherri O'Boyle, vice president of marketing, said.
The resort offers two Jack Nicklaus-designed golf courses. The Reflection Bay Golf Club, an 18-hole course located on the north shore of Lake Las Vegas, hosted the 1999 Wendy's Three-Tour Challenge last month. The Reflection Bay Golf & Beach Club is home to a pro shop and the waterfront La Chandele restaurant.
The private SouthShore Yacht & Beach Club offers a lounge with a fireplace, dining room, meeting room, fitness area with locker rooms, an outdoor pool and spa, loggias, a poolside grill, and beach with a lawn and picnic area. A marina with boat slips, lighthouse, harbor master's office and convenience store are planned.
Memberships are offered to all SouthShore home and property owners. A limited number of recallable memberships are available.
The community's first hotel, Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort, is scheduled to open on the north shore in mid-December. Proposed facilities include hotels, European-style gaming, a spa, several 18-hole golf courses, a retail village and restaurants.
"The major attraction to Lake Las Vegas Resort is the underlying concept of providing people with abundant lifestyle opportunities, and the lake is a big part of those opportunities," O'Boyle said. "Whether it's sailing, fishing, swimming, golfing, hiking, bicycling or just relaxing, Lake Las Vegas Resort offers residents the opportunity to recreate where they live."
Lake Las Vegas Resort Services can arrange housekeeping, car washing, bill payment, landscape and pool maintenance, home repair, and limited concierge services for residents.
The north shore offers MonteCatini, a multi-acre home site development priced from $2 million to $5.8 million.
The gated Sorrento neighborhood offers home sites ranging from one-quarter acre to more than one-half acre. Prices start at $265,000.
The opposite side of the lake features the guard-gated, Mediterranean-themed South-Shore development. Home sites are priced from $310,000 to $1.75 million.
PortaCielo, the newest South-Shore neighborhood with 72 homes, has entered its third phase. Three floor plans with customizing opportunities are offered. Homes range from 2,460 to 3,500 square feet and are priced from $480,000, plus lot premiums.
The resort is being developed by Transcontinental Properties Inc.
