Clubhouse construction progresses at Del Webb's Anthem Country Club

Del Webb Corp.'s Anthem Country Club in Henderson offers a resort-style lifestyle with several amenities including a championship golf course, salon, fitness center, walking trails and clubhouse, according to the builder.
Its 33,000-square-foot clubhouse will be central to the community when completed in spring 2000. The facility will feature a dining room, casual grill room and sports bar, meeting room, administrative offices, pro shop, and locker rooms with lounge areas.
According to Ryan Peterson, special projects manager, the building is progressing right on schedule.
"We have finished the first level of the facility and are currently completing the second level," Peterson said. "We have a few more steps to go before the exciting process begins, when the design elements of the building take shape and it's transformed into a stylish facility with an elegant atmosphere."
The 13,700-square-foot athletic club and salon offers exercise equipment, an aerobics studio, pools, spa, day care, locker rooms and poolside cafe. The salon and spa provides hair, nail, massage therapy and facial services.
The 7,300-yard, par-72 golf course, designed by Keith Foster and Hale Irwin, maximizes the rugged terrain and offers as many as five tee boxes per hole. Equity and recallable memberships are available.
Fifteen floor plans and more than 50 architectural variations are available. Homes measure from 1,281 to 5,626 square feet and are priced from $165,500 to $614,300. Many homes are adjacent to the golf course, trails or open space.
      Custom-home sites are also available.
An in-house design studio helps buyers select options including interior colors, floor coverings, counter tops, cabinets, light fixtures, appliances, landscaping and window coverings.
The country club will cover about 1,000 acres of Del Webb's 4,800-acre Anthem master-planned community. To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past Lake Mead Drive, and follow the signs.
The sales center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends. The Impressionist Collection's floor plans range from 1,281 to 1,951 square feet and are priced from $165,500 to $220,200.
Floor plans range from 1,922 to 3,809 square feet in The Baroque Collection. Prices start from $240,000 to $415,000.
Homes in The Romantic Collection range from 2,721 to 5,095 square feet and are priced from $329,600 to $509,500.
