Parkside Village neighborhood draws employee of builder Astoria Homes
Parkside Village continues to sell homes at a fast pace, according to representatives of Astoria Homes.
Jennifer Popov, who works for the builder and believes in the quality of its homes, is a resident of the gated neighborhood in the northwest valley. She and her husband, Brett, recently moved into a Residence Four model.
Originally from Reno, the three-year Las Vegas residents looked around the valley before buying the home.
"On the outside, I like the northwest side of town and the private gated community. On the inside, I like the one-story floor plan and the openness of the living and dining room. I also like the fact that two other Astoria employees live right around us," Jennifer Popov said.
Popov also likes the home's shelves, archways and niches.
"I like the homey feeling of the cul-de-sacs. On the first day, we met our neighbors and they came over," she said.
Residence Four measures 1,503 square feet with three bedrooms, two baths and a two-car garage.
The Popovs also enjoy the neighborhood park, which features a jungle gym, swings, volleyball and basketball courts, picnic tables, and lawns.
Residence One is a four-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath, two-story home with a two-car garage. It measures 1,902 square feet.
The two-story Residence Two comes with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a two-car garage and bonus room. This home measures 2,190 square feet.
The 2,412-square-foot, two-story Residence Three offers five bedrooms, three baths and a two-car garage.
Prices start in the low $120,000s.
To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Durango Drive, go north to Meisenheimer Avenue and follow the signs.
The builder is also selling homes at its Parkside Estates, Autumn Ridge and Spring Meadows developments.
Parkside Estates, adjacent to Parkside Village, has homes ranging from 2,287 to 3,310 square feet and priced from the $160,000s.
Autumn Ridge, which is in the Silverado Ranch planned community, features homes ranging from 1,503 to 2,500 square feet. Prices start from the low $120,000s.
Spring Meadows, also in Silverado Ranch, is located off of Maryland Parkway and Pyle Avenue. Its homes range from 984 to 1,525 square feet and are priced from the $110,000s.
Ironwood, another neighborhood, is in presales. Located at El Capitan Way and Horse Drive and priced from the low $200,000s, this gated neighborhood features homes ranging from 3,256 to 6,121 square feet.
The builder plans to open another neighborhood, Stonegate Encore, in the southeast valley.
All of the company's sales offices and model-home complexes are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
