Home buyer lauds floor plans at The Huntington

     Pharmacy is an exact profession for Kjersten Hesla, so when she started looking for a new home, she was just as thorough. After reviewing all of her options, she found the floor plan and value she desired at The Huntington by Coventry Homes.
      "I probably looked around at 10 or 15 different places and really wanted a two-story house. But the ones I found were either out of my price range or just looked boring," she said.
      Hesla said when she saw the Malibu floor plan, it was everything she wanted and was in her price range.
      The two-story, 1,522-square-foot home comes with two bedrooms, a loft, 2 1/2 baths and a covered porch. This home has options for dual suites or three bedrooms.
      "The floor plans at The Huntington are really cool," she said. "The first thing I noticed was the set-back garage. And inside, it seemed really open and felt more like home."
      Hesla said features such as the upstairs laundry room and the separation of the owner suite from the rest of the home made the Malibu stand out from other models.
      "I really like the breakfast nook and how it sits in the front of the house," she said. "It has a lot of windows and makes the whole kitchen look bright. The kitchen is also a good size without being too big."
      Homes range from 1,156 to 2,196 square feet.
      Prices start from the mid-$110,000s to mid-$150,000s.
      Interior features include bullnose wall corners, high ceilings, ceramic-tile entry flooring and recessed lighting. Kitchens feature ceramic-tile counter tops, basic appliances and oak cabinetry.

      Models are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Friday, when they open at 10 a.m.
