Carmel Hills features flexible plans at Lynbrook


At its Carmel Hills neighborhood in Lynbrook in the northwestern valley, Developers of Nevada is featuring four model homes and five floor plans, with options that can create 14 designs, ranging from 1,802 to 3,088 square feet.

Homes are priced from the $140,000s.

"We want our buyers to feel that their home is customized for their needs, so we offer unusual paint schemes and designer features," said Jim Moore, chief executive officer of the Developers of Nevada.

The Bluff floor plan consists of 1,802 square feet with three bedrooms, two baths, an optional owner retreat and den, and two-car garage.

The 2,152-square-foot Pointe plan has four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, an optional retreat, loft, great room and three-car garage.

The Heights offers 2,560 square feet, five bedrooms, three baths, an optional den or extended family room, loft or retreat, and two-car garage.

With 3,088 square feet, the Del Rey features five or six bedrooms, three baths, a retreat, breakfast nook, optional den, and two-car garage.

Not modeled is the Monterey, a 2,789-square-foot home with three bedrooms, three baths, a bonus room, combined living and dining room, separate family room, kitchen with nook, and three-car garage. Design options allow for as many as six bedrooms and a two-car garage.

Standard features include kitchens with oak cabinetry, pantries, ceramic-tile counter tops, gas cook tops, built-in ovens and dishwashers.

Homes also offer cultured-marble vanity tops, prewiring for ceiling fans and ceramic-tile flooring at entry.

"We create neighborhoods in the most desirable communities, such as Lynbrook, and we build our homes with constant attention to architectural detail, landscaping design and quality construction," Moore said.

The community features four parks with willow and pine trees, ponds, brooks, a water wheel, gazebos, grotto, and wishing well.

Other builders at Lynbrook are: American Premiere Homes and Development, Beazer Homes, Desert Wind Homes, D.R. Horton, John Laing Homes, Kimball Hill Homes, Pulte Homes, RL Homes, and Southwest Homes.

Priced from the $110,000s, more than 1,200 homes are planned, ranging from 1,024 to 4,000 square feet. Home sites measure from 4,500 to 20,000 square feet.

To visit the community, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road , head east to Jones Boulevard, then go north about four miles to Farm Road and follow the signs.

The sales offices and model homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
