Pardee offerings open in Shadow Mountain Ranch

Pardee Homes' Shadow Mountain Ranch neighborhoods of Cheyenne and Montana have attracted a range of home buyers in the southwestern valley, according to Ray Landry, assistant vice president of sales for the builder.

"Shadow Mountain Ranch is attractive to a wide range of buyers, from the first-time buyer to second move-up, and even retirees," Landry said.

"The buyer profile is due to the incredible selection of homes Pardee is offering at Cheyenne and Montana, all in one community."

Avi Zamani was delighted to purchase her first home in the community.

"I love the layout and design of the Cheyenne Plan Four C, plus the neighborhood location is incredible," Zamani said.

According to buyer Michelle Miller, the Montana Plan Four C is her ideal home in the ranch-style community.

"Plan Four C is a wonderful home in a family oriented neighborhood, which is a nice setting to raise our children, 2 1/2-year-old Madalyn and 4-month-old Mitchell," Miller said.

"You can't beat the location. The homes are close to the beautiful mountains, and my family has a quicker trip to visit my mother in Pahrump."

The community is being developed on 240 acres with about 1,150 homes planned at buildout in 2004. Pardee Homes will build about 700 homes on 160 acres of Shadow Mountain Ranch.

The neighborhoods opened for sales in March, when every home released in the first phase of the Cheyenne neighborhood and half of the Montana homes sold in two days, according to Landry.

"Families have a wide range of choices that can be tailored to their needs in this open, ranch-style setting near the beautiful Spring Mountain Range," he said.

Cheyenne offers four one- and two-story floor plans, ranging from 1,380 to 2,400 square feet with as many as four bedrooms, three baths and a bonus room. Homes are priced from $137,950 to $178,450.

Montana features four one- and two-story plans, ranging from 2,440 to 3,000 square feet. The floor plans offer as many as four bedrooms, three baths and an optional four-car garage in two plans. Prices range from $200,950 to $232,450.

To visit the community, take Tropicana Avenue west, past Durango Drive, to Grand Canyon Drive and turn left. Offices are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
