Tuscan Cliffs designs feature a first-floor office area adjacent to a central courtyard, providing residents with a private place to work or conduct business away from the distractions of the rest of the home, according to Kristi Kramer, vice president of Pacific Southwest Development, the builder of the guard-gated neighborhood.
"For the professional who works at home, it is essential to have a quiet, functional retreat with a degree of privacy," Kramer said. "In each of our models, there is an office adjacent to the courtyard that is separated from the more active areas of the home, such as the media room, kitchen or family room."

Standard amenities include multiple phone lines for business, fax machines and other communication requirements throughout the home.
"Technology can create new dimensions for the home office user," Kramer said. "With the right setup, a resident can monitor kids in the backyard, access the home's music collection for something appropriate, or adjust the lights and air conditioning throughout the home -- all without getting up."
Alternatively, various floor-plan configurations substitute a bedroom or library in place of the office.
"Regardless of how it is used, the room's primary appeal is its being secluded from the rest of the interior space of the home and the fact that it has direct access to the courtyard," Kramer said. "While our floor plans are well suited to entertaining and bringing people together, residents may want to reserve a place in their homes where they can find some privacy as needed."
The neighborhood, located within the Southern Highlands master-planned community, features semi-custom, Tuscan-style residences. A total of 155 homes are planned.
Buyers may choose from four floor plans with more than 50 configurations. Homes range from 4,328 to 5,441 square feet.
Base prices range from $1 million to $1.25 million.
To visit, take Interstate 15 to the St. Rose Parkway exit and go west. Drive north on Southern Highlands Parkway and proceed to Stonewater Lane, then turn left and follow the signs. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Monday, when it opens at 1 p.m. The sales office phone number is 228-8559.
