-- Southwest Engineering has been awarded the engineering and survey contract for a 20-acre project located at the northeast corner of Torrey Pines and Whispering Pines drives. The project is being developed by Carina Homes, and costs are estimated at $97,910.

-- The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors is in the process of launching MLXchange, a new property listings database. The system replaces the standard Stellar (MLS) system.

-- Kathy Campbell, Janet Goldstein and Carla Molina of NAI Horizon represented Americana One Paradise, dba KTUD-TV, in its three-year, three-month lease of 5,778 square feet at 3790 S. Paradise Road, Suite 100, to

Four Seasons Las Vegas, represented by Kevin Buckley of First Commercial Real Estate, for $387,816. In another transaction, Penny Mendlovic represented O'Bannon Plaza in its three-year lease of 2,489 square feet at 2239 S. Rainbow Blvd. to High Tech Diagnostic for $128,432.

-- Shawn Barashy of Lee & Associates, represented Affordable Concepts in its sale of 5,500 square feet and .96 acres at 3011 W. Lake Mead Blvd. in North Las Vegas to Monarch, represented by G. Rodney Harbaugh, for $1.09 million. In another transaction, Barashy represented Globe Marketing in its 36-month lease of 30,000 square feet at 1427 Helm Drive from Action Promotion, represented by Lance Robins of CB Richard Ellis, for $464,000.

-- GVA Industrial Property Group's Art Farmanali and David Mitchell represented Pacific Pools & Spas in the five-year lease of 4,087 square feet at 5565 S. Decatur Blvd. from Westech Business Center for $290,630.

-- Kellye Ray of Harsch Investment Properties represented the company in its 10-year lease of 3,906 square feet at 6000 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 4-A/B to Blue Nevada for $803,000. Margie Campobasso represented the company in its 36-month lease of 2,400 square feet at 3880 Vanessa Drive to Jerome Hamilton for $61,000.

-- CB Richard Ellis' Christina Roush, Charles Moore and Geoffrey West represented Columbia Flamingo Partnership in its sale of a 6,272-square-foot building at 3495 E. Flamingo Road to Andrew Lamothe and Matthew Campbell for $1.1 million. In another transaction, Donna Alderson and Jeremy Green represented Stone Systems of Nevada in its 10-year lease of 18,320 square feet at 7370 Commercial Way from Magnum Corporate Center for $1.4 million.
