Century 21 sales agent utilizes marketing, communication skills

Kim Kallfelz, a real estate agent for Century 21 MoneyWorld, said her clients benefit from her marketing background and dedication. The 12-year real estate industry veteran worked in sales and marketing on the East Coast before moving to Las Vegas in 1991.
"I put together a professional looking, comprehensive marketing package for my sellers," she said. "All of my homes are promoted with color brochures and ... I ... use an 800 telephone number where callers can access details about each of my listings. That's because when people want information about a home, they want it immediately. ... I use every marketing tool available, and I've even invented a few."
Kallfelz said she maintains open lines of communication with her sellers.
"The seller and myself are a team. I can't do my job without them and visa versa. I'm on the phone frequently, updating them on what's going on, how we're marketing the home, and what the feedback from buyers has been," she said. "I'm also continually educating myself regarding financing, and I network with a team of professionals in that area. It's one thing to get a house sold, but the next step is to get it closed.
"Because I listen carefully to what my buyers tell me they're looking for, and I know this city inside and out, including the neighborhoods and the schools, I can say, `Give me a day and I can find you a place to live.' ... I won't waste your time. I'll pack snacks in my cooler and take you to five areas, and the homes we've pre-selected will be just what you're looking for."
A licensed property manager, she also is the president of her homeowners' association.
"My buyers benefit from my extensive training in CC&Rs and other laws regarding homeowners associations, which are very common in Las Vegas," she said.
Kallfelz partners with her daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Kallfelz, in MoneyWorld's Summerlin office and specializes in the northwestern valley.
The realty firm has five offices in the valley. -- 6431 W. Sahara Ave., Suite 100; 375 N. Stephanie St.; 1555 E. Flamingo Road; 18 S. Water St. in Henderson; and 7430 W. Lake Mead Blvd.
