Astoria agent picks employer's product at Parkside Village

Jodie Parker, a sales agent for Astoria Homes, liked her employer's product so much that she bought one of its homes at the gated Parkside Village.
Parker, an Ohio native who has lived in Las Vegas for seven years, said she chose the Residence Two floor plan because of its unique "upside down" layout. The home's family room and kitchen are upstairs with a balcony, and the bedrooms are downstairs.
She was also impressed with the neighborhood park which features playground equipment, volleyball and basketball courts, and picnic tables.
Four homes are offered, priced from the low $120,000s. They include covered entries, picture windows and oak cabinetry.
      Residence One is a four-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, two-story home with a two-car garage in 1,902 square feet. Residence Two, a two-story, 2,190-square-foot home, has four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a two-car garage.
The two-story, 2,412-square-foot Residence Three features five bedrooms, three baths and a two-car garage. Residence Four is a one-story, 1,503-square-foot home with three bedrooms, two baths and a two-car garage.
Adjacent to the neighborhood is Parkside Estates, which offers homes measuring from 2,287 to 3,310 square feet and priced from the $160,000s.
To visit both neighborhoods, take U.S. Highway 95 to Durango Drive. Go right to El Capitan Way and follow the signs.
The builder is also developing the Autumn Ridge and Spring Meadows neighborhoods. Autumn Ridge offers homes ranging from 1,503 to 2,500 square feet and priced from the low $120,000s. Spring Meadows' homes range from 984 to 1,525 square feet and are priced from the $110,000s. To visit both neighborhoods, take Interstate 215 to Eastern Avenue. Turn right, proceed to Silverado Ranch Boulevard and follow the signs.
The builder's newest development, Ironwood, is a gated neighborhood with homes ranging from 3,256 to 6,121 square feet. Prices start at the low $200,000s. Features include music rooms, bonus rooms, retreats, curved staircases, courtyards, and first- and second-floor owner bedrooms.
Offices are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
