Perma-Bilt exec pleased with results at Modena

In six months, more than 60 homes have been sold at Perma-Bilt Homes' Modena neighborhood, according to Ruth Ochoa, vice president of sales and marketing for the builder.
"The southwest continues to be one of the hottest areas for new home development in Southern Nevada," Ochoa said.
Four floor plans are offered at the neighborhood, ranging from 1,362 to 2,363 square feet.
Prices start from the low $130,000s.
The Verona plan measures 1,362 square feet and features three bedrooms, two baths, a family room, formal dining room, country kitchen and two-car garage in a single-story design.
At 1,637 square feet, the single-story Capri offers three bedrooms, a library, two baths, an island kitchen, family room and two-car garage.
The two-story Como plan has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, or five bedrooms and three baths. It can measure as large as 2,236 square feet, or provide a tandem three-car garage with room for a workshop.
The Torino plan measures as large as 2,363 square feet with four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, or five bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The home can also be built with a loft, retreat or bonus room. The home also comes with a tandem three-car garage.
Construction will begin later this year on a community swimming pool and cabana area, which will feature patio seating and barbecue facilities.
To visit, take Tropicana Avenue to Durango Drive. Go north to Peace Way and head west. Go south at Tee Pee Lane, then west on Tompkins Lane. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
