Fairway Pointe sales exceed expectations
The initial release of Fairway Pointe townhomes in Queensridge exceeded the builder's expectations with the sale of 47 homes in the first phase. The builder, Chartered Homes, reports that the development is on its way to selling out the second release as well.
The gated complex, opened in October 1999, is adjacent to the Badlands Golf Club, a 27-hole golf course in the northwestern valley.
"Fairway Pointe has been an exciting project from the beginning," Patrick Patterson, executive vice president of the builder, said.
"The homes are a true departure from the typical home built in Las Vegas. Visitors at the gated cobblestone entry will feel they are in a European village, not a golf community located just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. The initial success of this is gratifying, and our buyers are as enthusiastic about their homes as we are about building them."
Five floor plans, measuring from 1,453 to 1,731 square feet, range from a home with dual-owner suites and two baths to a three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath design.
Prices start in the $130,000s.
Homes offer separate enclosed showers and tubs, dual vanities, walk-in closets in bedrooms, storage space under stairways in two-story plans, and enclosed rear yards with 6-foot walls.
The complex features European-style architecture, tree-lined streets, stone and brick exteriors, shutters, ironwork, and flat concrete-tile roofs.
Amenities include a neighborhood pool, spa, park overlooking the fairways of the golf course, and a fitness center.
The development is on Charleston Boulevard, just west of Rampart Boulevard. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
