Anthem Country Club releases lots

     Del Webb Corp. will release five custom-home sites Saturday at Anthem Country Club in Henderson.
      The custom-home sites, priced from $875,000 to more than $1 million, are located in the country club's gated Prestancia neighborhood. They measure as large as 2 acres.
      "There has been tremendous interest in these five spectacular home sites," marketing manager Anne Graceffa said. "Prestancia is designed differently from any of our other custom-home site neighborhoods. There will be a grand entry monument with waterfalls, enhanced design elements throughout the neighborhood and incredible views of the city, mountains and the Anthem Country Club golf course. Judging from early interest, I wish that we had more than just five of these sites available."
      Each home site purchase includes equity membership in the country club.
      "Anyone who wants the best-of-the-best will find it at Prestancia," Graceffa said. "The home sites are situated atop a bluff in the foothills of the Black Mountains, so the views overlooking Las Vegas are unmatched."
      The country club is the home to a Keith Foster/Hale Irwin-designed, 7,300-yard, par-72 golf course that uses the mountainous terrain, offering as many as five tee boxes per hole.
      A clubhouse, scheduled to open this spring, will feature a dining room overlooking the city, a grill, a pro shop, and locker rooms with lounges.
      Another amenity is an athletic club, which includes 2,500 square feet of cardiovascular equipment and activities such as aerobics, swimming, basketball, sand volleyball and tennis. The facility also includes a salon with hair, nail, facial and massage services. There is also a lap pool, resort-style pool, spa and poolside cafˇ.
      Floor plans come in four collections: the Impressionist, Baroque, Romantic and Renaissance.
      Homes range from 1,275 to 5,800 square feet, with prices ranging from the mid-$160,000s to more than $600,000. It offers 15 floor plans, including six second-story options, seven basement options and several casita options.
      The country club covers about 1,000 acres of the 5,000-acre Anthem master plan.
      To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past Lake Mead Drive. The sales center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
