Measuring more than 400 square feet with dual walk-in closets, the master baths at Tuscan Cliffs represent significant areas of each home's design, according to Kristi Kramer, vice president for Pacific Southwest Development.
Customizable home designs offer a number of opportunities for buyers to personalize through bath fixtures, decorative options and amenities such as spa tubs, heat lamps and rain showers. With such personalized design a master bath can become a private spa, according to Kramer.

"The master bath is not only where one prepares for the day ahead, but with the right combination of amenities, it can also serve as the place where one relaxes at the end of the day," she said.
Kramer said one feature that often draws comments from visitors at the community's models is the 75-inch round Riverbath Whirlpool tub.
"As shown in the Plan Two master bath, the Riverbath tub is definitely the focal point of the room. Visually everything revolves around it. This bath speaks for itself," she said.
Kohler fixtures are the most sought-after plumbing features, according to Kramer. Dual-head showers, overhead rain showers, body sprays and bidets, as well as a choice of tubs, some of which include spa jets, are among the most requested Kohler selections.
The fixtures are available in a choice of finishes and styles, including Kohler's Purist and Memoirs collections. Among the choice of finishes for faucets and handles are polished brass, French gold, brushed chrome and brushed nickel. Sinks can be upgraded to stainless steel, or buyers can select options such as a vessel sink atop the vanity.
Nearly every aspect of the bath can be customized, down to framed mirrors over vanity areas. Vanity tops may include marble or granite with full bullnose edging. Glass block may be incorporated into shower surrounds.
Kramer has found that heat lamps are yet another popular and very practical feature in bath areas.
"It keeps the bath very comfortable during the cooler months," Kramer said. "Not only is the room the right temperature, but there are no cold surfaces."
Buyers may even place a television within the bath. Properly mounted for safety and ease of viewing, the set may be connected to a cable or satellite system.
In addition, the home's audio system can be designed to pipe in music or any other audio programming, adding to the spa-like atmosphere.
