Tenant gets bonuses at The Summit

     Mike Conrad is delighted with the benefits he's received as a tenant at The Summit at Sunridge apartment complex in Henderson.
      "When I signed my first lease, I received one-half month's rent free," he said, pointing out he also received use of a garage for three months at no charge. "Then, when I renewed my lease, I had another half month free. When I renewed my lease the second time, they drew my name as part of a promotion and I won a full month's rent free."
      Conrad, who has resided at the complex for more than a year, rents a one-bedroom, one-bath unit with 725 square feet.
      "I have a lot of large furniture and I was a bit worried it wouldn't all fit in the apartment. But (the apartments) were so well-built that I was able to make it work. It couldn't have worked in some of the other one-bedrooms I looked at."
      There are six floor plans from which to choose, ranging from 725 to 1,229 square feet. Monthly rent starts from $695.
      The complex was developed by Picerne Development, and includes two pools and an equipped fitness area.
      To visit, take Eastern Avenue south of Lake Mead Drive to the entrance, between Green Valley Parkway and Summit Grove Road. The leasing office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
