K&B completes buy of Houston builder

     Kaufman & Broad Home Corp. recently completed the acquisition of the remaining 49.7 percent equity interest in General Homes Corp., a Houston home builder, for $14.2 million.
      The company netted a 50.3 percent stake in General Homes last August for $14.1 million.
      Kaufman & Broad builds homes in the western United States and metropolitan Paris.
