Beazer offers bonus at grand opening

     Beazer Homes is holding a grand opening this weekend, January 9-10, 1999, for its Silver Trace neighborhood, which is located in the planned community of Silverado Ranch. The builder announced it will offer a bonus package to all who commit to purchasing a home at the neighborhood today.
      The bonus package consists of gift certificates, discounts, and memberships to several businesses, including a cable television company, the builder's design center and a gym.
      "Silver Trace has been open for previews for the past several weeks and already we have received a great response from our visitors and buyers," said Larry Fodor, vice president of sales for the builder. "The grand opening festivities ... will give us an opportunity to open the new year with a fabulous promotion tailor-made for home buyers."
      There are four floor plans, all of which come with two-car garages.
      The Copper Crest plan is a three-bedroom, two-bath, single-story home with a den option. At 1,091 square feet, the plan is priced from $109,990.
      Also a single-story home, the Silver Thread features three bedrooms, two baths and the option of a retreat. Priced from $129,990, this plan measures 1,654 square feet.
      The two-story Gold Star plan offers dual owner bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a den and foyer. Optional features include a third or fourth bedroom, a patio and a balcony. The plan covers 1,629 square feet and is priced from $124,990.
      At 1,894 square feet, the largest floor plan is the Platinum Peak, which is priced from $131,990. It features three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a game room with a reading niche. Optional features include a patio and balcony.
      Standard features include front-yard landscaping with irrigation, block walls, oak cabinets with hidden hinges, rounded corners and cultured-marble counter tops.
      To visit, take Eastern Avenue to Silverado Ranch Boulevard, go west to Spencer Street, turn south and follow the signs. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Mondays, when it opens at noon.
      The builder is also offering Scarlett Canyon and Eagle Rock in Summerlin, Hillside View in the northeastern valley, Belle Esprit in the southern valley off of Las Vegas Boulevard, and Highland Glen and La Entrada in Green Valley. La Entrada is also holding a grand opening today.
