Anthem designed for variety of lifestyles
Anthem's three distinct communities and 55-acre park will accommodate a variety of lifestyles, according to Sean Patrick, director of public and community relations for Del Webb Corp.
Anthem is a 4,800-acre master-planned community on Eastern Avenue, about two miles south of Lake Mead Drive in Henderson.
"Families will have a great time picnicking in one of the largest public parks in Southern Nevada," Patrick said. "The amphitheater will also host theatrical presentations to bring families together for cultural activities."
The Coventry neighborhoods will feature ball fields; tennis, basketball and sand volleyball courts; a pool; and a trail system. Also featured will be a 20-acre site for a middle school.
"We are donating the site to the Clark County School District with all of the necessary utility connections and construction improvements," Patrick said.
Sun City Anthem, a 3,300-acre, age-restricted community offers facilities for fitness, hobbies and crafts. A 74,000-square-foot community center is scheduled to open next year.
The third development, Anthem Country Club, will feature a 10-mile trail system linking the neighborhoods to The Commons, which features a park and an amphitheater.
About 12,000 homes are projected at buildout. Thirty-three model homes are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Del Webb Corp. is the builder of Sun City developments nationwide, country club developments, and Coventry Homes neighborhoods throughout the Southwest.
