First buyers move into Willow Grove
Homeowners recently moved into the first completed homes at Willow Grove, a neighborhood by Stanpark Homes. More than two dozen homes have been sold in the neighborhood, which is selling phase four, according to Michael Cox, director of sales and marketing.
"The response has been tremendous," Cox said. "And, now, with the main Spring Mountain Ranch entry road completed, I really anticipate an incredible jump in activity as we go into ... 1999."
The builder is holding a drawing for a free big screen television -- to be delivered in time for the Super Bowl on Jan. 31. Visitors can register to win at any of the builder's neighborhoods. The promotion runs today through Jan. 24. The winner will be selected at 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 24.
Willow Grove features a new series of floor plans., which Cox believes are "the finest floor plan designs (Stanpark Homes has) ever developed." Homes are priced from $99,500.
The neighborhood, located in Spring Mountain Ranch, features homes with rounded corners, media niches, laundry rooms and art niches.
Home sites are large enough for a pool. Premium home sites are also available. Options include rear patios and balconies.
The neighborhood offers four floor plans.
The single-story Pine has three bedrooms, two baths and a two-car garage. It measures 1,001 square feet. Options include an entry courtyard, and a den or study in lieu of the third bedroom.
At 1,314 square feet, the single-story Willow floor plan features a media niche, kitchen bar counter and dual walk-in closets in the owner suite. The home offers three bedrooms, two baths and a two-car garage.
The two-story Aspen measures 1,806 square feet. Options include a loft, a second owner suite or a retreat in one owner suite. Among the features are a bar counter, pantry, laundry room, powder room, and a walk-in closet and separate tub and shower in the owner bath.
Ranging from 2,002 to 2,106 square feet, the two-story Palm plan offers a four- or five-bedroom design with a three-sided fireplace and a media niche. The exterior features an entry porch. Interior amenities include an island workstation, laundry room, walk-in closet in the owner bedroom and an optional loft.
Several exterior design options are available, including stone trim. Homes come with block walls and front-yard landscaping.
Stanpark Homes is one of the seven builders who are developing homes at Spring Mountain Ranch. The planned community will include eight neighborhood parks as well as the 8-acre Spring Mountain Ranch Park. This main park will include a baseball and soccer field; tennis, volleyball and half basketball courts; water play features; and barbecues.
The development is adjacent to Floyd Lamb State Park.
Model homes are also open for Canyon Ridge Estates by Kaufman and Broad with homes from 1,707 to 2,467 square feet, priced from the low $120,000s; High Vista by Distinctive Homes ranging from 1,401 to 2,197, priced from the low $100,000s; and The Trails by Richmond American Homes, priced from $97,900 and measuring from 1,134 to 2,338 square feet.
Model homes are under construction for Spring Mountain Ranch Estates by Beazer Homes. The neighborhood will feature quarter-acre home sites with homes ranging from 2,548 to 3,979 square feet and offering detached casitas. Prices start from the low $200,000s. During model construction, home buyers may preview model homes at the builder's Hillside View development, located at Hollywood Boulevard and Bonanza Road.
Other neighborhoods open at Spring Mountain Ranch include The Foothills by Royal Construction and Greystone Homes at Spring Mountain Ranch.
The model complex is complete at The Foothills by Royal Construction. The sales office and model homes will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning this weekend. Homes are priced from the low $120,000s to the upper $140,000s and offer 1,470 to 2,140 square feet.
Presales are available for Greystone Homes at Spring Mountain Ranch during model home construction. Standard home sites measure 60'X102' with one-quarter and one-third acre sites available. Greystone designs range from 2,102 to 3,018 square feet and feature a three-car garage. Homes are priced from the $160,000s to mid-$190,000s.
To visit, take the U.S. 95 Expressway north, past Centennial Parkway, to Kyle Canyon Road and exit east. Turn south on the frontage road to the main entrance at Horse Drive.
Sales offices are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
