Sales climb at Red Rock Country Club

Home sales and club memberships are escalating at Red Rock Country Club, according to Jack Conlon, president of Sunrise Colony Co., which is developing the 738-acre village in Summerlin.
"Based on our phenomenal rate of early sales and membership enrollment, Red Rock Country Club is undoubtedly one of the most successful country club communities we have ever developed," Conlon said. "I personally feel it is the finest golf facility we have ever developed, and it will eventually be ranked among the greatest in all of the Western states."
Two Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses are planned, with the first 18 holes set to open in the spring. A driving range and temporary clubhouse will also open in the spring.
Other recreational amenities include an 8,000-square-foot sports club and a 44,000-square-foot clubhouse. The sports club will open in the spring; the clubhouse is set to open in December. An aquatic center and tennis facilities are planned.
Two types of golf memberships are available, as well as sports, social and swim memberships. Membership is open to residents and nonresidents.
Four series of single- and two-story homes offer 17 floor plans, which range from 2,156 to 7,000 square feet. Prices start from the high $200,000s to $1 million. Fifteen model homes are under construction and scheduled to open in March.
The development will comprise about 1,100 homes at buildout.
The sales office is located on the northeast corner of Sahara Avenue and Town Center Drive. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
