Pacific Southwest redefines outdoors

The emphasis at Tuscan Cliffs is on the great outdoors, where home sites may accommodate swimming pools, cabanas, fireplaces and other features to extend the living area of the homes to the backyard, according to sales agent Mike Goeth.

"The addition of a pool, patio and other backyard amenities can effectively expand the usable area of a home," Goeth said.

"A swimming pool over summer and an outdoor fireplace throughout the cooler months create a space where residents may take in the tranquil surroundings of the Southern Highlands community, or entertain family and friends."

Through Pacific Southwest Development, builder of the Tuscan-inspired neighborhood, residents may consult with an expert who can assist them in incorporating custom-designed swimming pools and landscaping packages into their residences at the time of construction, according to Goeth.

"Best of all, we can install everything at the time of construction, which means they can begin enjoying their home right from the beginning and don't have to accommodate any construction activity while they are living in the home.

"Another convenience is that they can roll all of the expenses into their home's mortgage."

Several swimming pool and landscaping motifs are on display in the neighborhood's four model homes, including some with slides, a variety of water features and integrated spas. Other backyard options include extensive patios with decks above, fireplaces, cabanas, spas and fountains.

Models are open at the all-two-story neighborhood, ranging from 4,328 to 5,441 square feet. Various design options can bring the homes to 6,000 square feet.

The guard-gated neighborhood features home sites measuring one-quarter acre and larger.

Premium lots, including mountainside home sites in future phase releases, are available.

Standard amenities include paver stone driveways, sand-finished stucco exteriors, stainless steel appliances, 42-inch maple cabinets, granite counter tops, 6-foot garden tubs, wood-clad Andersen windows, Kohler plumbing fixtures and structured wiring systems. Each residence qualifies as an Energy Star home. Base prices range from $1.04 million to $1.2 million.

For a limited time, the builder will pay one year dues for a social membership to the Southern Highlands Golf Club with each purchase of a new home in the neighborhood, subject to application approval.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to the St. Rose Parkway exit and go west. Drive north on Southern Highlands Parkway and proceed to Stonewater Lane, then turn left and follow the signs.

Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when it opens at 1 p.m.
