Exec: Riviera homes designed for entertaining

Pardee Homes has homes available at the gated, single-story Riviera neighborhood, located in Henderson's Seven Hills community.
One of the models, the Portofino, offers a floor plan perfect for entertaining with a kitchen offering an elongated preparation island, according to Ray Landry, assistant vice president of sales for the builder.
Three floor plans range from 2,149 to 2,386 square feet. Each offers a kitchen with a preparation island, ceramic-tile counter tops, a cast-iron sink, pantry and package of built-in appliances.
Interiors include high ceilings, open designs, upgraded light fixtures, ceramic-tile or parquet flooring at entry, and gas fireplaces in family rooms (Portofino and San Remo floor plans) or great rooms (Genoa floor plan).
Prices start from $175,950 to $190,450.
Owner suites include tubs, separate showers with clear-glass enclosures and ceramic-tile surrounds, walk-in closets, dual sinks, enclosed toilets, ceramic-tile counter tops, and raised-panel closet doors.
Designated as ComfortWise energy-efficient homes, each includes a programmable thermostat, dual-pane vinyl-clad windows with ultraviolet-blocking glass, upgraded insulation of exterior walls and ceilings, and a soft-water loop for hot and cold water.
Nine Italian-style exterior designs are available.
Diane Salas, the builder's options consultant, can assist buyers in the selection of upgrades and options such as crown molding, wood window casing, wood shutters, video entry systems, entertainment center cabinetry and under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen.
To visit, take Lake Mead Drive to Seven Hills Drive, which is west of Eastern Avenue, and go south. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
