Buyer happy with life at Rhodes Ranch

Bijan Jaber-Ansari, already a resident of Rhodes Ranch, was among the first buyers when Rhodes Homes unveiled the models for its new The Collection neighborhood in the southwestern valley community.

"I bought a home in the Links and Lakes neighborhood two years ago. My wife and I love Rhodes Ranch. Our kids keep coming from California to visit us, so we needed a bigger house to accommodate them. We wanted to stay in Rhodes Ranch, so we couldn't wait for this new community to open up," Jaber-Ansari said. "This is where I want to live the rest of my life."

Though not a golfer, Jaber-Ansari said he likes the tropical, park-like atmosphere of the gated, golf course community.

"I walk every morning around the golf course. The whole community is so beautiful, it's like a little paradise for me. My blood pressure is lower and the place is so friendly."

Eleven floor plans ranging from 1,467 to 4,138 square feet are featured. Homes have from three to five bedrooms and offer features such as a library and a third-floor master suite retreat.

Homes are priced from the mid-$400,000s.

Many home sites align the fairways of the community's golf course and offer views of the mountains and skyline.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Durango Drive, and head south. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
