Altessa diversifies housing options in Summerlin village
Sales recently commenced at Altessa, a gated condominium development in The Vistas village of Summerlin. Nearly a dozen of the 280 units have already been sold, according to the developer.
Kevin Orrock, an executive with The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin, said the project diversifies the choice of homes within the master plan.

"Home diversity is an important component of any large-scale master-planned community and we're pleased with the growing number of options we have here in Summerlin," he said.
Condominiums measure from 644 to 1,333 square feet. Buyers can choose from 29 floor-plan variations. Prices start from the high $100,000s.
The complex is one of 28 residential developments within the 815-acre village, located west of the Las Vegas Beltway between Far Hills Avenue and Charleston Boulevard.
Village amenities include two 7-acre entrance parks marked by 48-foot clock towers, an elementary school, a grocery store-anchored shopping center and The Vistas Park, a 20-acre facility, which is under construction. It is planned to include a 6,000-square-foot community center, swimming and wading pools, play areas, tennis and basketball courts, two baseball fields and the master plan's first football field.
Other actively selling properties in the village are Casa Rosa by Kimball Hill Homes; Kingwood by R/S Development, Ryland Homes and William Lyon Homes; and Palmilla by Woodside Homes.
Aligning the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley, Summerlin is home to more than 100 parks, more than 120 miles of trails, houses of worship, shopping centers, medical and cultural facilities, business parks and nearly 100 model homes.
Single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and lofts are priced from the low $200,000s to more than $2 million. Custom-home sites are priced from the $500,000s. Monthly rent for apartments starts from the $900s.
