Rolladens called versatile

During its 15 years in Las Vegas, Rolladen Rolling Shutters has acquired many repeat customers, according to Frances Minnozzi, owner of the franchise.
"Once people have shutters on one home, they make certain their next residence has the shutters, too," she said. "The shutters simply provide a peace of mind not found with any other product. Once you have the shutters, you can sleep better and leave your home without worrying about break-ins."
Another benefit, Minnozzi said, it that the shutters provide protection from the elements, particularly during the summer months.
"Two-story homes are especially prone to higher power bills during the summertime," she said. "There's simply no better way to protect yourself against the elements than Rolladens. We have had some customers say they love their shutters because of the fact that they shelter them from various noises."
After the shutters are installed, power bills can be reduced by as much as 64 percent, according to Minnozzi.
The shutters are made of rolled aluminum and insulated with a layer of energy-efficient polyurethane, then kiln-fired to a high-gloss, durable finish. They can be mounted on windows and doors of existing homes or built into the window frames of homes under construction. Operated from the inside, the shutters can be opened to any degree. Through a venting system, they allow a controlled amount of light and air to circulate through the slats while maintaining privacy and security.
The shutters are custom made, and installation usually requires about two weeks. The company has a fully trained and bonded staff.
"Once people have Rolladens, the word of their benefits spread quickly," Minnozzi said. "We have many times gone back into neighborhoods or businesses to install shutters after completing installation on another home or business."
The showroom is at 6168 W. Charleston Blvd. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
