Models open at Marbella
Special to Real Estate
Nigro Associates' grand opening celebration at Marbella continues today as three model homes open for public viewing. All homes in the neighborhood, which is within The Arbors village in Summerlin, are two-story designs.
Todd Nigro, vice president of marketing and development for the builder, said the name `Marbella' reflects the style intended for the neighborhood.
"Marbella is a town on the southern coast of Spain, and the name translates to `beautiful ocean.' We felt it reflected a wonderful style of living and was an appropriate representation of the vision we have for this unique neighborhood," he said, pointing out that it is designed to complement its surroundings.
"We achieved this by first creating an inviting and attractive neighborhood. A grand, landscaped entry provides an immediate sense of arrival, while a private neighborhood park and landscaped open space areas create an environment similar to what you might see in Summerlin's most upscale developments," he said.
"We also decided to offer a number of optional modifications with each plan in order to accommodate the lifestyle needs of a more diverse blend of buyers. The homes at Marbella give the future owners an opportunity to add bedrooms, game rooms, lofts, bunk rooms and myriad other possibilities."
Floor plans range from 1,571 to 1,993 square feet with as many as three bedrooms. Prices start from the low $140,000s. The builder is offering a free washer and dryer to buyers who purchase their homes by July 30.
Interiors feature light fixtures, great rooms, nine-foot ceilings in select areas, ceramic-tile entries, raised-panel doors and polished-brass door hardware. The kitchens are appointed with ceramic-tile counter tops, oak cabinets in a choice of finishes, pantries and appliance packages.
Owner suites, per plan, offer high ceilings, walk-in closets, oak cabinets in a choice of finishes, dual-sink vanities with cultured-marble tops, and separate tubs and showers with ceramic-tile surrounds.
Exteriors feature Southern European-style architecture and are available in three designs. Front-yard landscaping is included, as are covered entries and courtyards in some plans.
Mike Nigro, vice president of construction, said the first phase of homes will be ready for move-ins in September.
"We have an excellent selection of homes, and we are building our first release on some of our finest home sites in Marbella," he said.
To visit the new neighborhood, take Summerlin Parkway to Town Center Drive, head south to Alta Drive, turn west and follow the signs.
The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
