Anthem clubhouse proves popular

     The clubhouse at Anthem Country Club has been well-received by residents of the golf course community in Henderson, according to Jerry Olson, vice president and executive director of club operations.
      "Both of our restaurants -- the fine dining room and casual grille -- see great attendance from members, and all are impressed with the decor and views...," Olson said, pointing out that a 270-degree terrace wraps around the main level.
      "From this one location, you can see Mount Charleston and the Las Vegas city lights as well as the first tee and the 18th green of our championship golf course. The building was designed with sense of openness to make it a breathtaking experience from all areas of the clubhouse."
      The clubhouse also includes a meeting room, golf shop, locker rooms and private club rooms. Concierge and valet services are available.
      "We plan to keep the menu fresh and exciting and, most of all, a fun experience for Anthem Country Club members," Chef Michael Farrell said about the restaurants.
      PGA golfer Hale Irwin and course architect Keith Foster designed the championship golf course. Equity and executive golf memberships are available at the 7,300-yard, par-72 facility.
      The community offers four series of homes and 17 floor plans.
      The Impressionist Collection homes range from 1,275 to 2,177 square feet, and are priced from $188,200 to $261,900. Floor plans range from 1,922 to 4,015 square feet in The Baroque Collection, and are priced from $255,400 to $469,000. Homes in the Romantic Collection measure from 2,725 to 5,095 square feet, and are priced from $348,100 to $546,300. Renaissance Collection plans range from 3,104 to 5,603 square feet, and are priced from $437,700 to $677,300.
      Custom-home sites range from one-half acre to more than 1 1/2 acres, and are priced from $700,000 to $1.1 million.
      Each custom neighborhood has its own gated entrance within the guard-gated community.
      To visit, take Eastern Avenue and proceed about three miles south of St. Rose Parkway (formerly Lake Mead Drive) to the sales center, which is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
