Home-site size draws buyer to Real Homes' Whispering Meadows

     The 6,000-square-foot lots at Whispering Meadows sold Michelle Estes on the neighborhood in North Las Vegas.
      "I couldn't believe how much home I got in this price range with such large lots," Estes said. "In addition to the spacious floor plan, my back yard will allow me to put in a large garden or pool. Being in the military, I've moved a few times and have seen what you can and cannot get in a home. Real Homes has everything I was looking for and more."
      Estes chose the single-story Gossamer plan, a 1,762-square-foot home with three bedrooms.
      Also available is the single-story Swallowtail plan, a 1,149-square-foot home with three bedrooms.
      Both offer a den option.
      Two two-story plans also are available. The 2,000-square-foot Emperor offers three bedrooms, plus a loft or optional fourth bedroom. At 2,252 square feet, the Monarch includes three bedrooms, a loft, bonus room and the option of a fourth bedroom.
      Homes are priced from the low $120,000s.
      All homes come with a three-car garage option, or an area for boat or RV parking. Also featured are soft-water loops, front-yard landscaping and gas barbecue outlets.
      Real Homes by Centex Homes is developing the neighborhood.
      To visit, take Camino al Norte to Ann Road, head east to Revere Drive, go north to Tropical Parkway, turn right and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
