Pulte exec extols Eden Ridge lifestyle

Pulte Homes' Eden Ridge neighborhood in Summerlin offers buyers an "elegant" lifestyle, according to Joe Whatley, vice president of sales and marketing.
"Eden Ridge is extremely popular because of the functional yet elegant designs, the high-quality standard features as well as the flexibility Pulte offers in terms of allowing customization of the homes," Whatley said.
The neighborhood is within the guard-gated, custom-home community of Willow Creek, which features a park with basketball and tennis courts, a playground, walking trails, and a barbecue and picnic area.
Eden Ridge offers single-story homes ranging from 3,087 to 3,890 square feet, and lots as large as one-half acre, priced from $400,990. Three models with as many as five-car garages offer the opportunity to customize with courtyards, patio fireplaces, casitas and cabanas.
Interiors, per plan, include a ceiling fan with light in the owner bedroom and family room, laundry-room cabinets and sink, 8-foot raised-panel doors, and ceramic-tile flooring. Also featured are custom interior columns and a gas fireplace with mantel.
Owner suites provide walk-in closets, separate tubs and showers with tile surrounds, dual-sink vanities, glass-block windows.
The kitchen cabinets feature concealed hinges and pull-out shelves. The appliance package includes a self-cleaning electric double oven with convection system, dishwasher, microwave, and five-burner gas cook top.
A multimedia package is standard with each home. The package includes category 5 wiring throughout the home, while increasing the amount of phone and cable outlets and video inputs. Centralized phone and cable wiring will allow homeowners to control all functions of phones, television and computers from one location.
Exteriors offer a covered patio; stucco eaves; a security system; courtyard or covered front entry; and finished garages with door openers, cabinets and workbench.
In addition, the homes' energy-efficient construction results in reduced heating and cooling costs. All homes feature the EPA 5 Star Energy Seal of Approval, and include ground-mounted air-conditioning units and forced-air gas heat, cellulose blown into exterior walls and ceiling, and a 75-gallon water heater.
To visit, take Sahara Avenue to Town Center Drive, turn left and proceed to Havenwood Lane. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon.
Visitors to any Pulte neighborhood through Sept. 30 are eligible to register for the builder's Dream Home Sweepstakes. The grand prize winner will have the opportunity to select a home of his or her choice ($250,000 toward a home) from any of Pulte Homes' more than 400 neighborhoods nationwide. The winner will be announced Dec. 8.
