John Laing to open new community

     Outdoor recreation is the name of the game at the northwest location of Suncrest Trail at The Villages of Tule Springs, according to Dana Rogers, vice president of sales and marketing for John Laing Homes.
      Floyd Lamb State Park is nearby, and it features a fishing pond, hiking and walking trails, in addition to nature study areas.
      Suncrest Trails, which will celebrate its grand opening Saturday with free food and prizes, offers homes as large as 3,300 square feet, with two to six bedrooms. Loft and detached casita options are available.
      Prices start from the $180,000s.
      The builder is also developing Whisper Creek at Tule Springs, a neighborhood of single-story homes. Floor plans range from 2,460 to 4,000 square feet and are priced from the low $190,000s. Four Winds at Tule Springs homes range from 1,545 to 2,485 square feet, and are priced from the low $140,000s.
      Suncrest Trails is located at Durango Drive and Racel Street in the northwestern valley.
