Perma-Bilt Homes sets `Summer Special' deal


     Perma-Bilt Homes is offering a "Summer Special" at its Naples neighborhood.
      Today through Sept. 30, the builder is paying the closing costs on homes sold at the neighborhood in the southwestern valley.
      "The average price for a home at Naples is about $144,000," Ruth Ochoa, vice president of sales and marketing, said.
      "With a 5 percent down payment, or about $7,200, you can own a new home at Naples and we'll take care of the closing costs."
      The neighborhood, which features a gated entrance, offers homes ranging from 1,550 to 2,064 square feet.
      The floor plans are priced from the $130,000s to the $150,000s.
      Naples' Marsala plan measures 1,537 square feet with three bedrooms, a loft, 2 1/2 baths, an island kitchen with pantry, upstairs laundry room and two-car garage.
      The Bergamo plan has four bedrooms, or optional bonus room or loft, 2 1/2 baths, dining and living rooms and a two-car garage. The home measures 1,551 square feet.
      The Trieste plan measures 1,888 square feet with four bedrooms or optional bonus room, 2 1/2 baths, an island kitchen with pantry, dining room, living room and two-car garage.
      The San Severo measures 2,064 square feet with four bedrooms, including an optional loft, three baths, a dining room, living room, an optional den or fourth bedroom near the third bath, and a two-car garage.
      All homes feature finished garages and ground-mounted air-conditioning units.
      A 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty is featured with each purchase.
      Interiors include rounded corners, hand-finished ceilings and white-frame windows.
      To visit, take Tropicana Avenue to Grand Canyon Drive and turn north. Proceed to Tompkins Avenue and go west.
      The sales office and model homes are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday.
