Red Rock inaugurates bus tour
Red Rock Country Club, a village in Summerlin, is offering visitors a shuttle bus tour of the community every half-hour on Saturdays and Sundays, according to Kain Stiles, sales director.
The tours, which are narrated, run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the shuttle departing from the sales center. It makes stops at the sports club and main clubhouse; passes the model complex; and showcases the views from the Mountain Golf Course, its practice facility and driving range. It then travels through The Vistas neighborhood, as well as the stadium tennis court facility.
Red Rock Country Club is home to one of two planned Arnold Palmer-designed, 18-hole championship golf courses. A pro shop will offer sportswear and accessories, along with a range of golf equipment. Locker rooms will have saunas, steam rooms, private lounges and media centers.
The 44,000-square-foot main clubhouse, scheduled for completion in December, will feature dining and social gathering facilities.
The 8,000-square-foot sports club offers fitness equipment, saunas, steam rooms, an aerobics studio, locker rooms and a play center.
The aquatic center features a family pool, spa, an adults-only pool, a lap pool, and a splash-and-spray minipark. An outdoor grill also is available. The tennis facility features nine lighted hard-surface courts.
The Oasis Grill and Lounge and The Palmer Lounge and Garden will offer indoor and outdoor dining. For special occasions, The Arroyo Room will be available.
One- and two-story homes range from 2,100 to more than 8,000 square feet, and are priced from the low $300,000s to more than $1 million. Floor plans offer as many as six bedrooms and four-car garages.
Among the customizing options are casitas, courtyards with fireplaces, sit-down wet bars, and owner suites with media niches and fireplaces. Professional interior designers are available for consultation.
To visit, take Sahara Avenue west, past Town Center Drive, head south and follow the signs. The sales office and models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunrise Colony Co., the developer, is also building the age-qualified community of Siena in Summerlin.
