Christopher Collection offers timely move-ins

Select homes offer timely move-ins at The Christopher Collection in the guard-gated Southern Highlands Golf Club, according to Terri Pickering, a Christopher Homes sales agent.

The southwestern valley neighborhood features 98 homes in 15 designs, ranging from about 3,000 to more than 6,200 square feet and priced from the mid-$400,000s to more than $1 million. There are four elevations and 12 color palettes per plan.

Pickering said a Cambria design is ready for occupancy.

"This highly upgraded Cambria home has it all, including a prime golf course home site with spectacular views," Pickering said.

"It is built with many desirable amenities such as upgraded stone flooring throughout, four interior fireplaces, granite counter tops, maple cabinetry, custom interior paint, French doors from the living room to the fireside courtyard, and much more."

The two-story home offers four bedrooms, including a first-floor owner suite and 3 1/2 baths in 3,603 square feet. The French-Mediterranean-style home features a gated motorcourt, courtyard fireplace, landscaping, covered patio, and paver-stone driveway.

It is priced at $864,790.

She said another home nearing completion is a van Gogh plan located along the golf course. The home features a courtyard, owner suite with a deck, two secondary bedrooms with baths, and a home office in 4,375 square feet.

Home sites average about one-quarter acre.

The builder includes a $25,000 allowance in the base price of each home for structural variations and design center options. Among the options are elevators, detached guest quarters, room additions, four-car garages, extra baths, bonus rooms, libraries, wine cellars, and wet bars.

The Southern Highlands Golf Club features roving security, concierge services, parks, an 18-hole golf course and clubhouse. A sports complex is planned.

Consisting of semicustom and custom homes, the enclave is located on the southern edge of the Southern Highlands community.

To visit, take Interstate 15 south to Lake Mead Drive, exit west and follow the signs. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
