Trump sales center readies for opening

Construction is nearly complete on the sales center for Trump International Hotel and Tower Las Vegas, a 64-story, $500 million condominium hotel to be built at Las Vegas Boulevard and Fashion Show Drive.

Jack Christie, vice president of sales and marketing, said he and his staff expect to occupy the $3 million sales center at 3128 Las Vegas Blvd. South in late June. Christie pointed out that although all 1,282 units have been reserved, potential buyers are encouraged to register in the event that some of those units become available.

Two units -- a studio and a one-bedroom suite -- will be modeled in the 8,100-square-foot sales center.

"Prospective buyers will be greeted by a doorman, and feel as though they are walking into the lobby of a world-class resort," Christie said. "Every aspect of every room will reflect the superior quality that is synonymous with the name Trump, from the polished marble floors to the opulently furnished and decorated models.

"The personalized services provided by our sales staff will also give prospective buyers a hint of the pampering they can expect as homeowners in Trump International Hotel and Tower Las Vegas."

The center also will feature a 10-foot, revolving model of the tower, audio-visual presentations, information kiosks and computer monitors showcasing the planned amenities.

The project is a joint venture between developer Donald J. Trump and Phil Ruffin, owner of the New Frontier Hotel. It will comprise 880 studio units and 352 one-bedroom designs on the 16th through 59th floors; and 50 deluxe one-, two- and three-bedroom "penthouse" units on the upper five floors.

The units, which will measure 636 to 1,057 square feet, were priced from the $600,000s to $6 million during the final phase of sales.

All condominium hotel units will include floor-to-ceiling windows; European-style kitchens with upgraded appliances; Italian marble flooring in the entries and baths; and marble counter tops and spa tubs in the master baths. Other luxuries will include owners' lockout closets, flat-screen plasma TVs, cable television and in-suite movies.

On-site amenities will include 24-hour concierge and security services; a spa, fitness center and salon; a heated pool outdoors plus a sundeck with bar; business center; doorman and valet parking services; and restaurants.
