Lifestyle lures buyers to Turnberry Place

Turnberry Place offers a one-of-a-kind high-rise lifestyle just east of the Strip, according to developer Turnberry Associates.

"The Turnberry lifestyle is what's selling this community," John Riordan, vice president of sales, said. "Now that towers one and two are finished, residents are experiencing firsthand the low-maintenance, resort lifestyle of Turnberry Place."

He said sales have been so successful that the 15-acre development is a year-and-a-half ahead of its projected construction schedule.

The third tower will be completed within 18 months following its groundbreaking this summer. Already half of the residences have been sold in tower three, and tower two is 90 percent sold. When complete, the community will include four 40-story towers with 740 residences.

"There are still a few residences left in tower two with spectacular views of the Strip and the surrounding mountains," Riordan said. "You can't find any other residential view like this in Las Vegas."

Among the amenities available to residents is The Stirling Club, a private $40 million club measuring 80,000 square feet.

"The club is a meeting place and social gathering spot for residents and members. There's an extensive calendar of activities, lectures, dinners and special events each month," Riordan said.

Club members can dine in the formal Stirling Room and enjoy spa treatments at the Caudalie Vinotherapie Spa. It will also be the first resort facility in the valley to feature clay tennis courts.

Additional highlights include casual and formal dining, a lounge with a piano bar, nightclub, billiards room, wine and cigar room, concierge service, a business center, library and outdoor mosaic pool. The 30,000-square-foot spa includes a virtual reality system, beauty salon, spas, saunas, steam baths, Pilates studio, lap pool, plunge pools and fitness center.

The community also offers valet parking, 24-hour security, limousine service and room service.

Ten floor plans are offered, ranging from 1,550 to 8,000 square feet. Each residence features marble spa tubs, granite-topped kitchen cabinetry, Sub-Zero and Gagganau appliances, and private wraparound glass balconies.

Homes are priced $500,000 to more than $5.25 million.

A 2,825-square-foot model at the sales office simulates the view from the 27th floor of the first two towers.

The office, which is located at 2777 Paradise Road, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
