Christopher's showcase residence closes soon

Only two weekends remain for visitors to tour Christopher Homes' 10,000-square-foot custom show home in the Southern Highlands Golf Club. The $7.5 million residence is located in The Enclave neighborhood.

People age 12 and older are invited to visit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays through Sundays until March 16. An admission fee of $10 per person is charged, and all proceeds go to Candlelighters for Childhood Cancer of Southern Nevada.

"Over the past four weeks, this home has received rave reviews from the general public, as well as real estate and home building professionals from across the nation," marketing executive Erika Geiser said. "Its unique styling and unsurpassed quality and craftsmanship create a perfect example for the level of quality clients can expect when they choose Christopher Homes to build their own custom dream home."

Showcased are the latest concepts in architecture, interior design and technology, including home automation.

The Enclave is a gated neighborhood that will contain 18 custom homes, measuring from 5,000 to more than 10,000 square feet. Home sites range from 13,800 to more than 35,000 square feet, with most aligning the golf course. City and mountain view lots are also available.

Home prices, including the home sites, range from roughly $1.5 million to more than $8 million. Each buyer in The Enclave will receive a golf club membership to Southern Highlands, upon application approval.

Neighborhood amenities include a private park with a pond and waterfall.

"Christopher Homes has assembled a team of the nation's finest architects and designers to create each of the 18 magnificent custom homes that will be located in The Enclave," Mark Stuhmer, vice president of the builder's custom-home division, said. "Our team, along with the nationally renowned firm of Scheurer Architects, will design a unique custom home for each home site. Each home will be positioned to optimize views, and every stage of the custom design and build process will be handled in-house by our own team of design and construction experts."

Interior design services are also provided.

To reach The Enclave, take Interstate 15 to the Henderson/Lake Mead exit and head west to the entrance of Southern Highlands, then ask the guard for further directions.
