The Curve will blend condominium living with resort-style amenities, retail shops, restaurants and office space, according to the developer.
The 42.5-acre "suburban village," as it is being called by its developer, The Curve Development Co., will be located in the southwestern valley adjacent to the Las Vegas Beltway between Durango Drive and Sunset Road.

"Las Vegas needed a progressive master-planned community that addressed the lifestyle of its residents," said Edward Kile, president of the development firm. "The mixture of breathtaking views, dining, shopping and daily services right outside your door accompanied by the relative tranquility of southwest Las Vegas makes The Curve unique."
Six designs are planned. The luxury condos will range from 1,103 to 2,025 square feet with 10- to 20-foot ceilings, and terraces.
Interior amenities are to include marble, granite and tile flooring and counter tops options, as well as Viking appliances.
Prices will begin at $385,000.
The development's first phase will include two 18-story condominium towers, 16 buildings with 115,885 square feet of retail/restaurant space, and 61,201 square feet of class A commercial office space.
Additional amenities are planned to include pools and spas, cabanas and 24-hour concierge service.
Construction on the $200 million project is set to begin in late 2005.
Klai Juba Architects and M J Dean Construction designed and will build the development, respectively.
Project partners include Bill Richardson, Dan Juba, Michael Dean, Randy Black Jr. and Michael Chernine.
