Siena Resale Group in full operationSPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE
Siena residents are provided with numerous conveniences, including the Siena Resale Group, which serves new-home buyers, as well as sellers within the age-qualified community in Summerlin. "The addition of the Siena Resale Group has enabled us to facilitate all aspects of residential real estate for our buyers," sales executive Jimmy Jones said. "For buyers who have the flexibility to have a brand new home built, our sales team has 18 single-story floor plans for the buyer to choose from. And for buyers who have a time constraint, our sales team has access to the inventory available through our Resale Group." Jim Slama, director of the sales service, said home sellers are equally well-served. "Because we don't take any listings outside of Siena, when a homeowner lists with us, they have the dedicated team of 12 licensed real estate agents who are focused solely on selling Siena," he said. "We've taken the marketing of our resale homes to a new level. In addition to providing virtual tours of all of our available resale homes online, we aggressively cross-market to the approximate 1,000 visitors who come through the model complex on a monthly basis. "One of the most important features of the Resale Group is that our office is located on-site in the Siena model park. This prime location enables us to provide both buyers and sellers immediate and personalized full-service real estate." Jones said the program has proved popular since its introduction last October. "We have residents who have utilized the Resale Group to sell their current Siena home, and then they go through new-home sales to purchase another home within Siena," he said. "It seems that once home buyers discover Siena they may move around within the community, but a majority of them are here to stay. "Within its guarded gates, private streets, and patrolled neighborhoods, Siena's residents have access to an unparalleled variety of recreational and social activities to enjoy including golf, swimming, dancing, bocce ball, tennis, craft clubs, social organizations and much more. Also, with approximately 2,300 homes planned for its 665 acres, Siena was designed to offer our residents a quaint village-like atmosphere with a density of a little less than three homes per acre for the entire community." Siena is a development of Sunrise Colony Co. A 39,000-square-foot social center under construction is expected to open this summer. It will complement a health and fitness center, clubhouse and golf course, which is open to all ages, however residents receive preferred rates and tee times. Floor plans measure from 1,040 to 3,200 square feet. Each offers three exterior designs and a range of customizing options, including courtyard fireplaces and casitas. A design center is on-site. Prices start from the $150,000s to the $390,000s, plus home-site premiums. To visit, take Sahara Avenue or Interstate 215 west to Town Center Drive and go south to Siena Monte Avenue. The sales office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
