Kingwood Crossing opens

William Lyon Homes' Plan Two at Kingwood Crossing is a favorite among single-story home buyers, according to sales agent Victor David. Buyers can take advantage of immediate move-ins on the Plan Two floor plan within the Summerlin Vistas Village and save $20,000, when using the builder's preferred lender.

"Many buyers don't realize it's possible, but they can absolutely purchase now and move in before the holiday season," David said. At 2,157 square feet, Plan Two offers three bedrooms, 21/2 baths, a two-car garage, formal dining room and covered entry. A great room with fireplace sits at the back of the home, adjacent to an island kitchen with pantry.

Granite countertops, upgraded cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, custom recessed lighting, raised-panel interior doors and a walk-in closet at the master suite are included features. Master bath highlights are a large oval garden tub with cultured marble surround, separate shower stall and sit-down vanity. Ultra low-flow shower heads, low-e windows and programmable thermostats are among the standard water and energy saving features. Home buyers may select flooring. The Vistas is planned to have three community parks, plus worship and public school sites.

Homes are priced from the upper $400,000s. To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway to Charleston Boulevard and exit west. Turn right on Vista Center Drive, right on Vista Park Drive and right on Crown Forest. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Monday when they open at noon.
